"Mari"

I don't know if anyone has wondered why I have my name as "Mari" instead of "Maria," no I did not forget the "a" at the end...lol.
My real name is "Maria Jose" but when I came to the States, I decided that it'd be easier for people to call me "Maria," but since my family usually calls me "mari" and I do like that a lot, I decided to put my name as "Mari" on my blog.
A small clarification for everyone, I do not like "Maria" pronounced in Spanish! I do like it in English. So if you're trying to be nice and pronounce my name "the way it should sound" then please call me "Maria Jose"' or "Mari" is fine too. And just so you know even if you do say "Maria" in the Spanish accent, I won't hold that against you! I just prefer it in English :D
